A couple weekends ago, the DeGraff clan headed to Saint George to enjoy the sunshine and good company. Lisa, our wonderful sister-in-law, offered her families condo for the festivities. We started off the weekend at a park tossing a football (the boys) and throwing a frisbee (the girls). I'm not great at frisbee, and I think Lisa got her exercise chasing my bad throws. Sorry! But it was sure fun.
Marc showing off his mad football skills. I don't want to brag, but my husband is pretty good.
See those three small people? That's Adam, Marc, and Steve. Not a great picture, I know. But this is the best shot I got of all three of them together.
So cute! Lisa is such an amazing mother. And Macey is such a cute little girl. I was glad I was able to capture this precious moment.
An overlook of the valley. It was a beautiful evening. You can see the temple in the background.
The girls. I love Macey's little head floating in the back. Sadly, I did not get a picture of the boys.A visit to the temple. It is so beautiful. Someday, I hope to actually go inside.
On Saturday, we went to Zion's National Park. We broke into two groups. Our group headed up Angel's Landing. We didn't make it to the top. I'd like to say it was because of a time constraint or because someone at the top had a broken leg and was unconscious. But the truth is, I was just plain scared. I don't know how anybody makes it up there without killing themselves. Maybe someday I'll make it to the top. The above picture is of the helicopter attempting to land for the broken leg. They hovered for a quick minute, then left. I still don't know how that guy got off the mountain. For all I know, he's still up there. We also saw a man having a heart attack on our way down. I've never seen so many emergency response personnel on one hike. Another reason for me to never hike Angel's Landing again.
On Sunday, we took a tour of Jacob Hamlin's home. It was fun to see how the early settlers lived. I'm sure glad I live today, though.
Snow Canyon. A beautiful view. A wonderful weekend. Thanks so much, Adam and Lisa!

St. George is one of my favorite places ever. Snow Canyon is probably the most beautiful place on earth. It looks like you had a wonderful time. You will have to try Angel's Landing again though. It's totally worth it, although super crazy that all sorts of people were having medical emergencies while you were there. I don't think that's typical...
I love when we go visit Clint's Mom in St. George. We've only been to Zion and done the easy stuff since I was pregnant and then had a baby both times we've been there. I hope Clint & I will be able to on our own sometime.
Dang girl, I love your pictures. Looks like you had a great time! And whenever we go to St. George we go to that same park! It's so awesome!
Is Marc a leftie? it looks like he threw the football left handed in that pic.
