For Marc's birthday (which just happened to be during fall break), we decided to head to New York City. Marc had never been and it's been a while for me. It was pretty much fabulous. We had so much fun. Since we have lots of pictures, I thought I'd break up the days and make a post for each one. We flew out on Friday night and arrived early Saturday morning. Neither of us slept on the plane, so we were exhausted that day. But don't worry, we did get a little nap in the middle of the floor at the museum. Here are the highlights from the day:
Breakfast at Norma's. I don't know if we were just REALLY hungry, but this food was amazing! We just kept saying "this is so good" over and over.
Museum of Natural History
Very cool. Might've been cooler if we weren't so tired. For anyone who's been, we took a nap in the whale room in front of the big movie screen. It wasn't really that wierd. Lots of kids and families were sitting on the floor all around us.

Empire State Building
Looking up toward midtown. You can see Central Park in the middle.

Dinner at Shake Shack
Yum!

Hey Diana - those are such cute pictures! Why a fun trip! Jared hasn't been to NYC either, and I think it would be so fun to go. Someday...
One day that will be me & Clint. He misses it so much, and it's been 8 years since his mission. Maybe we'll shoot for our 10 year anniversary, or sometime when the kids are at a point that we can leave them for a while.
